International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on March 8, recognizing and appreciating women’s political, economic and social achievements over the decades. Woman’s Day was first observed in 1909 in the United States and it is only in 1977 that the United Nations officially declared International Women’s Day celebration on March 8. An event which started as a political affair has evolved over the years. “ Empowering Women is Empowering Humanity.” On this occasion, we should endeavor building a better world where men and women live harmoniously, free of violence and discrimination.” Theme for International Womens Day 2019 is “ Think equal, build smart and innovate for change.”

World Wildlife Day- Saving One Animal Won’t Change The World But It Will Change The World For That One Animal!

On 20 th December 2013, at 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) decided to proclaim   3 th March, the day of the adoption of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), as World Wildlife Day , which was proposed by Thailand, To Celebrate and Raise Awareness of the World's Wild Fauna and Flora. Wildlife is a precious gift of God to this planet. Wildlife plays a major important role in balancing the environment. Wild life also provides stability to different kind of natural processes of nature. The importance of wildlife to this planet earth is for their medicinal values, to keep the healthy environment, they’re very Ecologically Important, for Economic Importance, Investigatory Importance, Conservation of Biological Diversities, Recreation, For Socio- Cultural Importance and Importance in Agriculture etc. Theme of World Wildlife Day 2019 is ‘ Life below water: for people and planet' which focus
